Web site license to use Ape on an extra web site or shared hosting user account - $25;
Web server license to use Ape on any number of web sites within one virtual or physical web server - $95;
Web server subscription license to use Ape on any number of web sites within one virtual or physical web server � monthly fee of $9 for 12 months period.

Ape 3.0 released

Ape 3.0 has been released. Beside performance improvements this release includes new free license when Ape can be used on any three web sites on a server at no cost.

New licensing model:

free license to install Ape on three web sites on a server, no trial or features limitations;
web site license to install Ape on extra web sites on demand or to install on a shared hosting user account;
web server license to use on any number of web sites within entire web server.

The update has caused the change in registration code policy. All existing customers can upgrade their licenses for free upon request. Please contact our support service at support@helicontech.com to request new registration code.

Release of Helicon Ape 2.0.0.23

Helicon Ape 2.0.0.23 released, and we are sure it deserves +1 to the version number. You may have a look at the list of implemented modules here. There are more that 30 of them!

Pay special attention to our proprietary modules that are not present in Apache - it's mod_hotlink, which protects your web server from people stealing your traffic, and mod_linkfreeze, which allows to automatically change links on pages to SEO-friendly format.

Also, mod_replace is worth mentioning as it implements regular-expressions-based mechanism for altering HTML body and HTTP headers.

In addition, the latest version includes some small but useful modules - mod_speling and mod_usertrack.
