I need to add Web 2.0 bookmarks to news sections within existing sites.  All of our news item links use dynamically produced dirty URLs (e.g. news.asp?type=daily&newsID=1234). Web 2.0 bookmarks only seem to work correctly when a clean URL is added.

If a user clicks on a link the resultant page must show a clean URL in the address field and this new clean URL inserted into a bookmark link within the page.

I have downloaded ISAPI Rewrite lite to test functionality but reading through the manual and examples, I'm not sure if it will do the job. This is all new to me and the manual tied me knots.

Can anyone put me straight.

I managed to sort it out earlier and everything works as it should.  Too busy doing too many things, I didn't really concentrate on the problem and when I finally did, it wasn't.
