Right now whenever I do a rewrite, the rewrite is done on the application layer but is not displayed on the browser. This is good in most cases but there are other cases where I'd like the rewritten url to be displayed in the browser. Is it possible to do this from the httpd.ini file?

Could you post the rule you are using?

You need to perform a redirect instead of a rewrite to change a browser's address.
