Hi,  I am doing a trial of hotlinkblocker.  I installed with the msi.  I selected on of the site that I need to protect.  Maybe there is something I didn't understand in the installation guide.  Hopefully you can help me out.

I added /files to the protected folder with link and applied.

As soon as I apply, the entire site stops loading until I disable the protection. 

Let me know what's going on please.

Can you please give us a link to your site and text configuration file you have used with HotlinkBlocker. There is a Text config button in HotlinkBlocker - use it.
Also please explain what you are trying to protect and how. Please note that LINK protection method will require you to add a template for the signature to all links for protected files on your site unless protected files will become inaccessible.

If I enable hotlink blocker for this site, the entire site stops working.

Hi,

I just checked my event viewer and this is what I get when I activate hotlinkblocker:

1st

The HTTP Filter DLL C:\Program Files\Helicon\HotlinkBlocker\Filters\HotlinkBlocker14841.dll failed to load.  The data is the error.

2nd

Could not load all ISAPI filters for site/service.  Therefore startup aborted.

Also.  The normal page is a .php at the moment.

The test I was doing is using daemon.alphabravo.org/2.html

I added the 16 x in the file link.. Ie: /files/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/file1.exe

Please check NTFS permissions for the C:\Program Files\Helicon\HotlinkBlocker\ folder and remove all Deny records if found.
