I have a compiled web application that runs under IIS and
am unable to modify the application source code. Can I use
APE to selectively modify the HTML output of the
application and insert additional HTML or Javascript code
prior to it being sent to the client? In other words, does
the mod_replace functionality allow me to intercept the
final HTML and modify based on rules so I can replace an
IMG tag add in a google map, etc. ?

Hello,
That’s exactly what mod_replace does. Although it only works on IIS7 or IIS7.5. On IIS6 Ape’s features are limited.
Please let me know if you need any help in designing configuration.
Thanks.
