I have 2000+ urls that I need to redirect and these will continue to come in
as they are found. Tried to use RedirectMap but it just redirects to the home
page.

Here is the rule I was using...

RewriteRule ^(.*\.html) ${oldurlmap:$1}

the map file has the following:
/waves+&+craves.html /products/waves-and-craves

Hello.

I'm sorry but I do not see the question or an issue.
The rule looks fair, though there're no flags used. Try to add [NC,R=301,L]

I added the flag and here is what I get...

ap:%24%7boldurl...

Just a constant redirect.

Here is the current state of the rules:
RewriteMap oldurlmap txt:oldurl_redirect.map
RewriteRule ^(.*) ${oldurlmap:$1} [NC,R=301,L]

Tried to log and nothing is ever recorded.

Hi,

It's something random. It seems the loop has occurred, so that mapfile wasn't recognized.
Please, provide information on build, you operating system and log file.
