Hello,

I purchased APE for my server (windows 2008) an works very fine.Wanted to make some tests locally (win7) so i installed it at my pc.

Tried 2 versions : 0.29

IIS works but APE not, i made the test i saw in another thread :

RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^test$ - [F]

and i receive 404 error.

Tried then the newest 0.32

and IIS i snot working at all (receiving can not connect error) at localhost.

Any help is appreciated

thanks

Hello,
Please provide me with error.log records and try and add RewriteEngine on before your configuration.
Thank you.

Hello and thanks for reply.

Finally 0.0.29 works (needed to enter licence data)

0.0.32 makes IIS to not work at all so error.log is empty.

If it is possible please provide links for 0.30 and 0.31 versiosn to try.

Checked my server, i use also 0.0.29 there

thanks

Hello,
Maybe you have a few versions installed at the same time. Please consider to use only one unless you can separate them so that they wont overlap each other.
Here are the links to the previous versions:

31

Thank you for using our software.

Hello,
Would you please provide us with applicationHost.config. You may send it to support@helicontech.com

Well examine the file and Ill provide you with solution and/or workaround as soon as possible.
Actually there shouldnt be any problem with Windows 7 and Ape, even the latest version, because we test Ape on Windows 7 and all our developers use Windows 7 as a development platform.
The only problem can be in misconfiguration.

Thank you for trying Ape.
