Working with Anaconda and conda "virtual environment"?

24 May 2015, 11:41

As a potential user (this seems like a very useful product!), I read the article on Django integration (http://www.helicontech.com/articles/run ... nce-tests/). I saw that the normal Python "virtualenv" was mentioned - however, I did not see any mention of the use of the conda "virtual environment". Anaconda is an extremely useful install for Python on Windows as it takes care of numerous packages, especially those that are otherwise quite tricky to install.

Is there any documentation on running a Django project, using Anaconda and the conda "virtual environment" for the project's Python and other third-party packages under Zoo?

Thanks!

Hello.

Thank you for your feedback! I added your suggestion for further investigation when we will fill product catalog with new version of Zoo. Current version is on freeze as new version is a complete rebuild and it will be hard to support two versions of catalog.
Currently it is not clear to me how this conda is better than standard Python and Virtualenv for needs of our product. After investigation we may consider to add this product as alternative Python package.
