Higher CPU when using isapi rewrite

08 Mar 2017, 18:46

We noticed a significant increase in CPU usage the on our webservers around the time of the switch over to the new site. The servers were running around 7% CPU and have increased to 22-23%. Initially we thought it was a code issue, but after some digging and testing that we conducted on Wednesday, we determined the issue to be a problem with Helicon's ISAPI filter.

The reason we upgraded to the full version was to use a feature that would allow us to have per site configuration files rather than one large config file for all sites hosted on the machine. It seems that the use of the per config site files is what is increasing the CPU usage.

Can Helicon help to find a solution to the problem? If you need the configuration files, I have these on my webservers:
e:\deployedapps\media-web-horoscopo\currentprod\SiteSP\root\.htaccess
e:\deployedapps\media-web-astrologydotcom\currentprod\.htaccess
e:\deployedapps\media-web-horoscopedotcom\currentprod\.htaccess
c:\Program Files\Helicon\ISAPI_Rewrite3\httpd.conf

Thanks a lot for sharing those configuration files with us.
I guess I could share something useful with you too - recently I have discovered this sitehttp://flashessay.com/and I have never been more sure about my choice of essay writing service.

Actually, I don't know quality analog to CPU. I think that you'd better contact assignment masters and they'll give you professional help.
