Classic asp IIS8.5 Windows Server 2012R2 setup
Hi Guys
I'm in the process of relocating a number of classic asp sites from Windows Server 2000 to Windows Server 2012R2 (64 Bit) with IIS 8.5. Isapi Rewrite 3 is to be installed on the new server. Are there any issues that I should be aware of/cautious about before commencing the installation?
Any guidance will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Rusty

Hello, Rusty.
There are no known issues in this configuration. You only need to remember to install ISAPI extensions and filters feature of IIS, which is not installed by default. Also, may I suggest you to consider moving from ISAPI_Rewrite to Helicon Ape - a newer and more advanced product with additional features, like password-protected resources, caching and compression, DDoS protection, hotlink protection, etc. Since you already migrating to a newer OS it may be easier to migrate to newer Helicon module at once.
