Ape not working on Windows 10 (IIS 10)

28 Aug 2015, 14:03

Hello,

On a fresh IIS 10 server, I did install the last version of Helicon Ape.
It did appear on IIS but, anytime I try to launch it, I just get a white square (empty) with ape logo.

Seems it can't launch properly.

Is there any fix ?

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

We are already aware of this issue and hope to have it fixed in the near future.

Please note that this does not affect Ape operation - it works just fine.
The problem is only with Manager - it doesn't show properly.
So, in the meantime, you can simply edit the config files using text editor.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Then, how can I manually, assign/activate a web site from licence manager (which is greyed out) ?
Do I need to add it's ID number to licenses.conf ?

If I ask, this is because it does not seem to handle the .htaccess file from my site, like it did in the past.

Hello,

I believe, you need to put the licensing details into the httpd.conf file to activate Ape.
Then it should handle your .htaccess just fine.
