3.1.98.508 considered buggy for 64-bit Python WSGI apps

02 Apr 2014, 17:45

Hallo HeliconTech,

some minutes ago I switched from 3.1.98.508 to 3.1.98.524 from the beta feed, according to a Helicon recommendation in another thread (Zoo python crashes). All strange behaviour I experienced before, is just gone and the web application is running fine.

Anybody running Python WSGI apps (Pyramid, Django, Flask) using a 64-bit Python should NOT use the version from stable feed but from the beta feed.

Applies to:

* pyramid 1.4.5
* Anaconda 1.9.1 64-bit
* Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit
* IIS 8.5

Hello,

Thanks for sharing your experience.
It's true that builds in beta feed sometimes have fixes that are not yet available in stable feed.
But we generally sync them after little time.
