I have a cluster with two servers running HotlinkBlocker. The signatures are identical, the expire times are both set to 1800, the computer clocks are within 5 seconds of each other, they are in the same Time Zone.

Server1 has Web pages with the encrypted links that point to protected content on Server2. For testing purposes, there is also one HTML page on Server2 with a link to one of the same pages.

My remote PC can access the all protected content normally. However, users on the same local area network as Server1 (10.97.128.x) can only get to protected content using the Server2 HTML page. The Server1 pages all get blocked. It would appear that Server1 will not accept the encrypted links for anyone who happens to be on the same local area network as Server1.

Any ideas?

More info:

Users on the Server1 LAN can get to protected content stored on Server1 when Server1 generates the protected link. However, they cannot get to content on Server2 if the encrypted link was generated by Server1.

As a remote user accessing everything through the Internet, I can get to content on either server regardless of which server generated the protected link.

Please try to move time, so Server1 will be a bit late, for example 10 seconds after Server2. If it help we will create new fixed build within several days.

I tried making Server1 10 seconds late, 20 seconds late, and 10 seconds early. None of these changes made any difference. Also tried rebooting both servers. No luck there either.

OK, one supposition - please try build 60.

I installed build 60 on both servers. It immediately caused all encrypted links to fail in cluster mode and in single-server mode. Every link invoked my "unauthorized" html page. I double-checked all settings, tried a different signature, restarted services, and rebooted the servers.  Nothing helped.

So I reverted back to build 59 and everything functions normally except for the problem cited at the beginning of this thread.

Oh, sorry for that. Please try build 61 instead.

Build 61 has not fixed the original problem, but it does seem to work okay apart from that.
