Hello Guys its a long time since Ive been here and some old issues popped up again.

We have ebay users stealing some images and also there seems to be some sort of new tool they have to nick a bit of text or a heading as well, they may be doing this manually but I don't think so.

I need to block ebay and others from the images and also maybe some other content. Whats my best option.

Thank you

Mike

OK I downloaded and installed hotlinkblocker however I can't seem to understand how it works. I set 192.168.100.103 on the referers blacklist and set the rule to /   referer

that should have blocked my access from that local machine to everything - no.

Also I am only able to apply the isapi filter on a global level - I am unable to add the isapi to individual sites the tab is not there. I have IIS 5.1 on Win XP SP2

Thank you

Mike

1. It is referrer. It does not block access from specific IP, but with referreer of this specific IP.
2. On Windows XP there is no "sites", there is only one "Default" web site. What you call sites are virtual folders, HotlinkBlocker cannot be configured on that level.
