I have implemented LinkFreeze and it is working great! Excellent...

Except for my log files which are now carrying both URL forms.... I specificatlly did not clik on the "Log modifed URLs". I am assuming that it should only log the original ".asp?..." URLs eventhough the new/modified URLs are now begining to be requested....

My problem is that I must record the old URLs in the log files for WebTrends to pickup and translate correctly (with SQL lookups) the paramenters within some custom reports...

Any Suggestions?

Can you please show portion of your IIS log with both links and show your LinkFreeze configuration (text file).

Here is one example of a good one followed by a bad one (4 lines apart):

2008-04-08 15:22:06 W3SVC33061 HOST002 207.0.204.205 GET /package_detail.asp PkgGroupImage=CulturalPkgGrp.jpg&Pkg_ID=420&PropType=HotelResorts&ID=67&PgkPckgID=23 80 - 67.195.51.220 HTTP/1.0 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+Yahoo!+Slurp;+http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp) - - www.eliteluxurytravel.com 200 0 0 62701 295 859

2008-04-08 15:23:29 W3SVC33061 HOST002 207.0.204.205 GET /package_detail/PkgGroupImage/Culinarypkggrp.jpg/Pkg_ID/29/PropType/ - 80 - 74.6.17.216 HTTP/1.0 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+Yahoo!+Slurp;+http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp) - - www.eliteluxurytravel.com 404 0 3 1814 259 46

Here is another one (this line is fine):

2008-04-08 15:32:32 W3SVC33061 HOST002 207.0.204.205 GET /package_detail.asp PkgGroupImage=Culinarypkggrp.jpg&Pkg_ID=406&PropType=HotelResorts&ID=67&PgkPckgID=27 80 - 67.195.51.105 HTTP/1.0 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+Yahoo!+Slurp;+http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp) - - www.eliteluxurytravel.com 200 0 0 64088 295 812

and 10 lines after...(this is one is not..)

2008-04-08 15:35:21 W3SVC33061 HOST002 207.0.204.205 GET /package_detail/PkgGroupImage/CulturalPkgGrp.jpg/Pkg_ID/397/PropType/HotelResorts/ - 80 - 74.6.28.104 HTTP/1.0 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+Yahoo!+Slurp;+http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp) - - www.eliteluxurytravel.com 404 0 3 1814 273 62

Hope this helps...

Seems like you have some incorrectly formatted links on your pages. For correct links IIS log record should show:
/package_detail/PkgGroupImage/CulturalPkgGrp.jpg/Pkg_ID/397/PropType/HotelResorts.htm
note absence of .htm file extension in your record. Probably there was no correct extension in this link or link was formatted manually using incorrect format.
