Hi,

I installed Isap rewrite 3 on my IIS6; for troubleshouting I insert in the httpd.conf in the installetion directory the 2 instruction:

RewriteLogLevel 9
LogLevel debug

After some time spent to try to fix a problem I open httpd.conf in a text editor and cut the 2 lines and save it(now it is 0kb); now the error.log continue to register lines and lines of log (now is 22Mb!!), vs. the rewrite.log is not registering nothing.

How can I stop registering also error.log and clear twice the files??

Can we get an answer on this? Same problem here.  If you rename the log file to error2.log, it picks up the change and dumps errors there but it doesn't release the original log file - IIS process retains it and doesn't release until you stop the servivce.
