I have a few thousand pages that I need to rename for seo purposes. I was told that this application will 1) detect what was being asked for, 2) send a 301 to the appropriate place, and 3) redirect the request to the renamed file.

I understand that the fee to get a license is a one time fee with no other future fees.

Will lite do what I need? If not, is 2.x adequate?

Thanx. H Cape Group

Forgot to say these will be permanent redirects so the content on the old pages will not conflict/appear as dupicate.

Seems like I already answered your question by e-mail, right?

Seems like I was answering exactly the same question that day.
Yes, ISAPI_Rewrite 3 can do what you ask. I suggest you to utilize mappings since you need to rewrite thousands of different URLs.
Yes there is one time license fee, minor upgrades also included. I suggest you to run and configure everything in trial mode first.
Probably Lite version will be sufficient. It depends on a number of other sites you are going to use ISAPI_Rewrite on this server.
