Since we are considering to use HotLinkBlocker for access protection to a web-enabled repository, I want to know whether the signature generated for a URL is file-dependent.
Thus, if I am able to get a 'signed' URL to a file, say image1.jpg, would I be able to modify this URL and replace the file name with another name, say image2.jpg? If I do so, would I get access to the image2.jpg or will it bounce?
Also, when the URL expires, will it also expire the client-side cached copy of the linked file?
Thanks.
