Have a space (%20) to dash (-) problem:

Have this currently:

http://www.ultimatepheasanthunting.com/USA/South%20Dakota/

Need to do this instead:

http://www.ultimatepheasanthunting.com/USA/South-Dakota/

How do I convert the space or %20 to a dash (-)? state.cfm?id=South Dakota

This is what I have so far:

RewriteRule /USA/([^.?/]+)/ /state.cfm\?id=$1 [I,L]

This is the page:

http://www.ultimatepheasanthunting.com/state.cfm?id=South%20Dakota

Try this rules

RewriteRule /USA/([^\-]*)-(.*) /USA/$1\%20$2 [I,NS]
RewriteRule /USA/([^.?/]+)/? /state.cfm\?id=$1 [I,L]
