Hi Guys,
I have an odd error with linkfreeze...
I have link freeze set up on a website which has a number of files / folders set to not be included via the text config.
The error is that if I click a link that goes to a page that is set to be excluded before the page has completly loaded in the browser I get a 404 error.
There seams to be some problem with the method / when link freeze rewrites the URL as the html is served.
What can I do to fix this issue?

I didn't understand the error from your description. Can I see this problem online somewhere?
Possibly you need to include the folders you have excluded from freezing but enable only request decoding option for this area.

Yes you can see the error on this site:
http://www.daryl-showers.co.uk/
If you click on one of the website pages and before the page has completly loaded click on the 'showroom locator' link in the left menu the site errors.
If you click on the same link after the page has fully loaded there is no error.

Sorry, I was unable to reproduce the problem. Maybe page loaded too fast :)
Could it be your local web browser cache issue? I don't see any reasons fro the error you are describing on that page.

Hi Yaroslav,
If you goto the following page (it is busy with a lot going on so should take a while to load)
http://www.daryl-showers.co.uk/product_pages/PRODUCTS_BY_RANGE~CollectionID~12~CollectionName~Minima.htm
and before it loads click on the 'showroom locator' link in the left menu

No problem again.
It really can be a problem of your local cache or proxy server. Try to reload this page using Ctrl+Refresh button.

It shouldn't be a cash issue as it is occuring on multiple machines dotted all over the UK (every machine we have tried it on).
What do you mean by dom not loaded??

Please upgrade to the latest build of LinkFreeze first. Possibly you encouter problem with IE7 encoding characters in links.

We have had a similar looking problem when using ajax in the page. The DOM (document object model) takes awhile to load and created a similar problem with links for us. If this doesnt happen with linkfreeze turned off then its not the problem, I was just offering something to check.
