Hi...We have a site that has two kinds of dynamic URL that we want to change.

www.test.com/thearticles.asp?ID=1233

and

www.test.com/gifts.asp?page=2&tp=23

INstalling link freeze allows the FIRST example to change perfectly well...but the SECOND example is left unchanged.

What could cause this? Is it the Multiple 'equals' sings confusing it?

Thanks for your help.

EDIT:

To clarify, BOTH pages are successfulyl changing their extensions FROM asp TO htm. However the database query [?page=2&tp=123] is NOT changin as it should do.

Are there any restrictions to what characters we can substitute...i.e. are we allowed to use the hyphen/dash in a substitution.

right...scratch that post as well....

the reason linkfreeze was picking up SOME links and not others was because of the way the lniks were coded in the page itself.

So for people experienceing the same problem...make sure that the links in the page are [semi] hard coded and not pure queries.

thanks
