Hello Good People,

I have seen two references in this forum, but both were not followed through... here it goes:

I have been using LinkFreeze successfully on one domain (since 2004). I have closed it and use it now under a different domain. This domain:
www.LastName.net
... has sub domains (with the same IP, but host headers), as follows (#1):
www.FirstName1.LastName.net
www.FirstName2.LastName.net
www.FirstName3.LastName.net
... which are basically the directories (#2):
www.LastName.net/FirstName1
www.LastName.net/FirstName2
www.LastName.net/FirstName3

LinkFrezze works as shown under reference #2, but not in #1

I am happy to pay for extra licenses in case #1 constitutes individual sites as far as licensing is concerned... but, the IIS configuration does not have a LinkFreeze tab for these sub domains, as they are just another sub directory with a different DNS reference.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Max

I guess you are looking in a wrong direction. There should be www.FirstName1.LastName.net, etc. web sites records in IIS console. In other case IIS will be unable to map these DNS to any site. Probably you have mapped these sites to your main www.LastName.net web site.
If your problem is not modified links to the sub sites, then it is by design. LinkFreeze does not modify external links in absolute format to prevent corruption of external links. You will need to hange these links manually.
