Thank you, I received a key.
There are more problems with LINK protection:
- if I try to use generated link (with unique sid) from another machine (another IP) - IE hangs and server CPU utilization growing up to 100% I think we should just get 404 error.
- if I restarted IIS, new urls with new sids generated, but files may be downloaded with both (old and new) urls.
Direct urls in case of LINK don't work as designed
Could you please help me? I have to implement new protection ASAP despite the New Year Thanks
Sergey
PS my configuration
################################################# # HotlinkBlocker Configuration file

PS It's strange, but if I restart IIS and URL was changed, my IE still display old links - I tried clean cache, restart IE, etc - don't work... If I use another browser (Opera) I got new links, but if I restart IIS again - the same picture and I have to start third browser (Mozilla) to get new links :) Probably it's ISP's caching?...

Can you please give me a link to your site and pages with protected images?
After restart IIS old links valid - this is normal because they are not expired yet.
"Direct urls in case of LINK don't work as designed" - what you mean?
For IE try to use Ctrl+Refresh to bypass cache.

Here is link http://82.137.161.66/gba/ (/gba/roms is protected by LINK) If I use generated link like http://82.137.161.66/gba/roms/e88983ed6952a42c/001%20test%20file.rar from another machine (actually from server), CPU server utilization icreased instead of error 404
PS "Direct urls in case of LINK don't work as designed" - I mean links like 82.137.161.66/gba/roms/001%20test%20file.rar don't work in case of LINK protection in place. It's correct?

No need for testing, we already located the bug. We recently changed the logic of processing and thus this is a result of insuffient testing put in this build. The bug is already fixed but we are working on additional testing procedures for now. Today, when the testing will be complete we will release new build.
As for your question about LINK protection I'm still unsure that I understand you correctly. With LINK protection enabled you will be unable to access files directly, without the signature - this is how the protection work. Request will either get 404 error or will be redirected to predefined location.
