Hi,
I have just downloaded the trial version of HotlinkBlocker (using the MSI installer). It is correctly installed and configured by following the intructions in the documentation. However, hotlinks on other servers to our images are not blocked.
There is no error message in the event log. In the ISAPI filter tab, HotlinkBlocker's status is "Unknown" which I believe is normal as we are using IIS 6.
Attached below is the ini-file automatically generated by the IIS Manager SnapIn. I can confirm that HotlinkBlocker is enabled for the website and the ISAPI filter is installed.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Can you please tell us more about your system configuration? Do you have any other thirdparty ISAPI filters installed on your server? What happens if you remove white list referrers?

This is a Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and is recently clean installed. The website is running .NET 2.0 and the only other ISAPI filter installed for this website is "fpexedll.dll".
By the way, It seems that the status of HotlinkBlocker is now "loaded". Here are the ISAPI filter details:
File Name: HotlinkBlock Status: Loaded Executable: ..\HotlinkBlocker756....dll (numbers abbreviated) Priority: Medium
File Name: fpexedll.dll Status: Loaded Executable: C:\Program File...\fpexedll.dll Priority: Low
Thanks for helping Yaroslav.

Yaroslav, I've tried removing all domains from white list, but still no effect.

What if you temporarely disable this second ISAPI filter fpexedll.dll?
Also make sure you are using latest build of HotlinkBlocker, it is build 38 for now.

Also I'm not sure why, but I'm getting infinite redirect loop when trying to access your site's homepage, is it normal?

Yaroslav, Thanks for the quick response.
I was reconfiguring the production server to test the ISAPI which caused the loop. That loop is gone now.
I have removed the fpexedll.dll filter. Also checked HotlinkBlocker's version. It is the latest one: 1.2.0.38. Description is HotlinkBlocker filter dll.
Do you have any other suggestions that I can try?

Maybe you can provide me with a terminal access to that server so I could look by myself? We will come back to you on Monday.

Yaroslav,
Thanks for the advice. Sorry I cannot give terminal access to that server. Is there any debug information I can collect for you?
Our images are getting hotlinked so we are definitely going to purchase this once it's working.

I don't think the problem is really inside the HotlinkBlocker itself so most likely debug build will not help. Are you sure there is no messages in Application log? Maybe it is because of incorrect trial period? If you e-mail support@helicontech.com I will send you a temporary registration key.

Also have you tried some other protection methods? For example try LINK protection for some test folder.

And maybe this is a permission problem? Try to give everyone read permissions to the HotlinkBlocker installation folder.

Also please download and install latest build 40 from our site. To upgrade the software simply run new installation package.
