Hi All,

I am very frustrated and really anoyed on trying to get this running on IIS6.  I have been trying for hours and hours

Can someone help me out and point out a step by step process to getting ReWrite running and explain the process as i find the docs very confusion and not really a installation instruction.

I have got it running on my XP machine by trying a few things and eventually it worked.  I don't understand how i got it working but it did.

I have alot of sites on the server and don't want to apply it across the board i only want to set it up individually.

Can anyone help me PLEASE!

Tim

I do not understand the installation process.

Could you explain what you do when you install it in simple terms.

eg.

Install software

Set permissions (where? in IIS? COM+ Server Side Extensions?)

In the ISAPI Tab under the website which dll do i point it to? IF AT ALL!

Ect.

If you could just explain the process it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Tim

1) Install the software.
2) Check file system permissions according to documentation.
3) Put your rules to the httpd.ini.

That should be sufficient in most cases.
