Hi.

My company has a CMS that uses a redirect.asp file with a p parameter that passes a page id which is sent to the database to populate the page with content.

My question is, can ISAPI_Rewrite convert this URL to any meta information provided with the page? For example, the http://mywebsite.com/redirect.asp?p=10. would show up like http://mywebsite.com/about_us.asp in the address field if I provide any meta data with "about us".

Regards,

Kaj, Uppsala - Sweden

I'm not sure it is possible with ISAPI_Rewrite.
Please tell what CMS are you using and do you have SEF urls enabled in it.
Also please tell how do you imply to send meta data.
And read example in our docs concerning Keyword-rich URLs.

Hello

I'm also beginning to doubt that ISAPI_Rewrite will do the trick. The CMS I'm using is developed by our company, as a part of our products, so there is no option like enabling SEF urls. What I meant by sending meta data is to include it in meta tags. I will hae a look at the docs about Keyword.rich URLs to see if I can find anything there.

/Regards, Kaj
