My host has added ISAPI Rewrite and I would like to take advantage of it. I'm looking to do the following

http://www.example.com/catalog/itemdetail.asp?ItemID=1307

to

http://www.example.com/catalog/red-widget-with-fringe1307.html

This stuff is all greek to me so any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info, please let me know!

It should be like this:

RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^catalog/red-widget-with-fringe(\d+)\.html$ catalog/itemdetail.asp?ItemID=$1 [NC,L]

But as you probably have more than one product you'd better take a look at map files:
