Can I password protect access to a directory with ISAPI_Rewrite ?

Unfortunately, ISAPI_Rewrite doesn't support password protection.

Thanks, I am using Plesk but I think it is my understanding that Password Protect via Plesk CP is disabled in order to run ISAPI_Rewrite. is there a way to pasword protect dir on a windows server another way?

You may set the password in IIS - Web Sites - Web Site - Any directory - Properties - Directory Security.
