I am working on a holiday villas site. We would like to include the country in the url, but ignore this in the rule, as follows:

domain.com/cyprus-villa-401.htm
domain.com/spain-villa-501.htm

This would redirect to:

domain.com/property_detail.asp?id=401
domain.com/property_detail.asp?id=501

Sorry, forget this one. I have worked it out:

RewriteRule /([^/]+)-villa-([^/]+)\.htm   /property_detail.asp\?id=$2 [I,L]
