We upgraded from isapi rewrite 3 to Ape and have a couple of rewrite
rules that aren't working now. They are as follows:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCompatibility2 On
RepeatLimit 30
RewriteBase

RewriteCond %{HTTP:Host} ^cappers\.com$
RewriteRule (.*) http\://cappers\.grit\.com$1 [NC,L,R=301]

RewriteCond %{HTTP:Host} ^www.cappers\.com$
RewriteRule (.*) http\://cappers\.grit\.com$1 [NC,L,R=301]

Can you please assist us in getting this straightened out. Thank you.

First, please try to fix your config like this:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)?cappers\.com$
RewriteRule (.*) http\://cappers\.grit\.com/$1 [NC,L,R=301]

If it doesn't help, please give the sample request which doesn't work and provide rewrite.log records for it.

Thanks Anton, that did the trick.

We have found a few more redirects (rewrite rules) that are no longer working. They are as follows. The first one is for redirecting to the full URL of a sweepstakes page, and the second example is for expired sweepstakes pages. Thank you in advance for assistance.

RewriteRule ^sweepstakes\.aspx\?qnrName=SWP_CGC&id=2147497855$ /sweepstakes.aspx?qnrName=SWP_CGC&id=2147497855&cid=2147484695&us=1 [NC,L,R=301]

RewriteRule ^sweepstakes\.aspx\?qnrName=SWP_ALBC&id=2147494647&cid=2147494863$ /giveawayend.aspx\? [NC,L,R=301]

Hello,
Any suggestions for these sweepstakes rewrite rules? Does it have to do with the periods and/or question marks in the URLs? We have quite a few redirects similar to these in our production environment that are no longer working.
