Hello,

Do you know if it is possible to make MaxMind mod_geoip work with APE?

http://www.maxmind.com/app/mod_geoip

If it is possible would the applicable API be the one for apache 1.3.x or 2.x?

Currently we do not have that one, but as a workaround we may suggest mod_dbd + mod_rewrite.

Thanks for the suggestion Andrew but I think it may prove very difficult and time consuming unless you have an idea here?

The reason I want to use it is to use it is to redirect visitors from certain countries to certain pages.

This is a massive number of IP ranges, and they are constantly updated too.

Well,

We do not have a module for that. But we did use the DB and rewrite for corporate needs.
The database is free itself, and we never updated it. Just never felt to do this.
