We have a virtual directory that we want to password protect in IIS6.

We want to be able to regenerate the name/password file programatically once every night.

We need the system to use the newly generated file immediately without having to restart a service.

Will the Ape product allow us to do this?

Hello, Kyle

Yes, you can use Ape to ensure authentication for you.
You can refresh passwords file programatically and Ape will use it for protection without restart.
