Hi,

I've been trying to install Isapi rewrite 2 on windows 7. I've used this program before on windows XP and have a license.

I downloaded and ran the 64 bit installer...
isapi_rwf_x64_0078.msi

The program installed and I registered it.

When I went run a test on my server. IIS was showing
HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error

Calling LoadLibraryEx on ISAPI filter "C:\Program Files\Helicon\ISAPI_Rewrite\\ISAPI_Rewrite.dll" failed

To me that path looks wrong?

I've tried changing it, removing the extra backslash but now I'm getting a 404.

Hopefully someone can help here.

All the best,

Matt

Excessive slash is definetely not the problem.
Check the bittness of the Worker Process running your web site. If it is the 32-bit process then you will need to install 32-bit ISAPI_Rewrite instead of the 64-bit one.

Hey Lexey,

Went into IIS then Application Pools > DefaultAppPool > Advanced Settings. In the General grouping, Enable 32-Bit Applications was set as True. I've set this to False.

ISAPI rewrite now seems to work. Thanks for your help here!

All the best,

Matt
