We are currently using Ape on IIS 7.5 Win 2008 R2. When we
apply the following rule strange characters will show up in
certain links. It appears to be converting "(double quotes)
to 1/2 and spaces to 1/2.

Please see the example below.

Could you please show the rules you are applying.
And tell where I can see these strange chars. Where should I click?

I am the same user(mstillo).

The characters are caused by double quotes and spaces.

The characters can be viewed if you click on the link
below

Here

I have also attached an image with the character errors

Sorry, but could you please explain what ISAPI_Rewrite with your response body?
It only works with request headers.

Please try to add the following directive after SetEnv mod_linkfreeze and specify the content-type value you need (e.g. windows-1251):

SetEnv content-type windows-1251

We tried that content-type and several others. None of them
worked.

Weird.
Let's move to our helpdesk for convenience (http://support.helicontech.com/helpdesk/).
Please create a ticket there with reference to this form post.
And give us a link to a page where the problem occurs.
