to be redirected to

http://www.XXX.com/

 

This redirection should follow a 404 redirection as

http://www.XXX.com/kshfddskfhsdfhsk does not exists in the website  and the above redirection should not affect my any working URL

Do you want this to work on ISAPI_Rewrite2?
It is easy to achieve on ISAPI_Rewrite3, but on v2 there's no direct way to do this.
You can only do something like this:

[ISAPI_Rewrite]

RewriteRule /(?!list|all|physical|folders|here).* http\://www.XXX.com/404.asp [I,RP]
