Hi,

Is it possible to disable sending cookies for static content like images. As this is totally useless and not effective.

Regards

Hello,
Please enable mod_headers and mod_setenvif in httpd.conf and try the following configuration:
Code:
SetEnvIf mime image/.* unset-cookie
Header unset Set-Cookie env=unset-cookie

[edit]

Although i've added the rules above, i don't think that they are active?

When i use firebug's page speed to see how my pages are loaded, i can see that cookies are still being send for images.

The message is: "Serve static content from a cookieless domain", but that's exactly what i am doing...right?

How can i verify if cookies are being send for images?

Hello,
If it works there should be no Set-Cookie header. Please make sure both mod_headers and mod_setenvif are enabled. Corresponded LoadModule directives should be uncommented in httpd.conf file.
