A customer wants the following:

He wants to 'rewrite' sitemap.php to sitemap.xml, is the following then correct? (this doesn't work )

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ /sitemap.php [L]
AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .xml .rss

Thanks,
Michel

Hello,
Please clarify your IIS version and try the following test rule:
Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule .? - [G]

If you get 410 Gone responseApe was configured well and works. Otherwise its most likely that you have a misconfiguration. We need to see error.log, web.config and applicationHost.config if ist IIS7 or IIS metabase if its IIS6.
You may send these files by email to support@helicontech.com

Thank you.
