I have a RewriteRule that works fine. I would now like to add "&language=french" to the end of the url if the request is "francais/Araxi-Traductions.html"

this is th request that works:
RewriteRule ^/Araxi-Traductions\.html$ /index.cfm?action=home.cover

now I would like to add something if we see "francais/" in the link
from this
francais/Araxi-Traductions.html
to
index.cfm?action=home.cover&language=french

how could I do this?

I spoke too soon. It does rewrite it and push it to the right page but none of the paths in the page are properly recognised as I imagine they are takin into account the "fictional folder" francais.

So no styles, no images, etc.

how can I get around this?
