I have a folder with many subfolders... ie

folder
folder/sub1
folder/sub2
folder/sub3
folder/sub4

I have a rewrite rule that redirects the main folder to my homepage...

RewriteRule /folder(/.*)? http\://www.mysite.com?1$1: [I,RP]

This works great... problem comes in with sub folders...

RewriteRule /folder/sub1(/.*)? http\://www.mysite.com?1$1: [I,RP]

This redirects to http://www.mysite.com/sub1

I want all all sub1 and anyother sub page to redirect to homepage as well.

I guess you need to use this single rule to achieve this:

RewriteRule /folder(?:/.*)? http\://www.mysite.com/ [I,RP]
