Isapi Rewrite Full Version
Hi,
I purchased the Full License a few days ago and am just wondering how to work with it on several domains now?
With the free version I had the basic file that worked for all domains but I also need special rules/mappings for each site.
So do I just set these rules in the basic file or do I need to set up a new file for each domain and where to place it?
Thanks for the help,
Pascal

Rules in httpd.conf works in a same way like in the lite version. Plus .htaccess supported for distributed configuration if needed

Re: Isapi Rewrite Full Version
I know that the rules there work the same way, but where to put .htaccess and how to tell the system that it should use them
Re: Isapi Rewrite Full Version
You need to create .htaccess file in the site folder and Isapi Rewrite load it automatically.
Also you can use Helicon Manager to fast navigate through site's tree

Re: Isapi Rewrite Full Version
does not work. there is a .htaccess in the site folder (where all other files to be used are in) but in helicon manager it says: No properties available for this node
when clicking on a subfolder it shows a .htaccess file to be used. but that does not help me much as i need the file in the site folder.

Re: Isapi Rewrite Full Version
Please click "about" button and check version of ISAPI_Rewrite, looks like it is lite version.
.htaccess is supported only in full version, probably you need to install full version over lite one

Hi Sergey,
Link does not work.
Edit: link works with a slight change to it: download instead of downloads
Still the same problem after running the file.

Could you please provide access to your server via RDP or online meeting. [email protected]

Hello,
We've accessed your server and fixed the issue.
The thing was that fixsnapin.cmd didn't fire because you didn't have Administrator user on your server and the script has this username hardcoded.

Thx, that helped. Hint for other users: fixsnapin didn't work because : "The thing was that fixsnapin.cmd didn't fire because you didn't have Administrator user on your server and the script has this username hardcoded."
So admin rights are not enough to use it, you must log in with Administrator.
Hope that will help you all.
