Ape will not install

I have a windows box, IIS7, ISAPI rewrite3. When I try to install Ape using Helicon_Ape_0076_Free.msi, check "register Helicon Ape for all IIS servers", I get following error

.Net Extensibility feature not installed on your machine

I go into server manager, looking at roles reveals ASP.NET was not installed but .Net Extensibility was not. I installed ASP.NET & rebooted but get same error.

ANy ideas?

Hello Joe,

You're saying that you needed .Net Extensibility, but at the same time you're saying that you installed ASP.NET.
Please, provide screenshot to verify what is installed and what is not.

I miss-typed. The first time I tried to install Ape .Net Extensibility was installed & ASP.NET was not installed. I got the error during the 1st installation attempt with this config. I then installed ASP.NET so both are now installed, rebooted, tried to install Ape and got the same error.

Please, try installing from command line: msiexec /log log.txt /i Helicon_Ape_0076_Free.msi
And provide us with the log.txt.

I sent the log file via support ticket referencing this thread
