Ape Debugging

20 Dec 2016, 14:08

We are trying to setup the Ape debugger from Ape manager and when we do, it takes us to a browser and then we get an error that our browser is out of date and nothing past that....the debug tab never shows up in Ape manager either. Any ideas?

Hello.

Sorry, debugger tab has been moved to a separate browser window. We had to remove built-in browser support and now debugger is using your default browser to open both debugger and website windows. It is suggested to use a current version of Webkit based browser (like Chrome) to use it.

Thanks for the feedback. I installed chrome and when I start debugger it gets the 'untrusted site' error and I go around it and accept risks and it gives the generic error below...

Sorry for the delay.

Do you run debugger locally or on a remote server? Please try to upgrade Ape installation on that server to the latest build (currently 256). And make sure ASP.NET trust settings on the website you are debugging are set to "full trust". Lover trust levels may not work in this situation.
